RUNWAY OF THOUGHTS

So it's the first day of Autumn and you know what that means? The sweater weather season is coming up!! I've been patiently waiting for winter season since it ended, the wait is almost over. Sweater weather is my absolute fav, I get to cuddle up with my blankets in an oversized jumper while drinking hot coffee and watching TV shows on Netflix.









This outfit is a Rubi Ortiz inspired outfit (check her instagram out @rubilove). She totally slays the 'oversized jumper' look with her knee high boots. And since this season is perfect for that look I've decided to try it out to see how it looks and I loved it! This orange knitted sweater is as comfortable as wearing a onesie and matched great with the wrapped around denim button down while paired up with black knee high boots.



And of course can't end this post without appreciating the company and fashion sense of that guy next to me. Yes, that's my brother Kc Tabale (@kc.tabale). He finally agreed to be apart of my blog for once haha. You can never go wrong with a plain outfit mixed with a flannel button down, perfect for this season isn't it? I picked out an outfit for him and came up with that, faded black jeans with knee slits matched with a plain white top and covered up with a flannel button down and to complete the look, a black sweater. Simple but classy.

Goodbye 2015 although I kinda hated you, you still brought good things into my life along side the bad. 2015 has been such a roller coaster ride for me yet it has been such a fun ride, I've met so many new people that have made a great impact in my life. The most important thing I've learnt was we need to learn how to be happy on our own before we put our happiness in someone else's hands as quoted "Everyone wants to have someone to lean on. But in order for us to be able to lean on someone else safely, we need to learn to lean on ourselves first". This year you should make more fun memories with the people you love, go travel and do more of what makes you happy. Overall just enjoy it and make the most out of everyday. Its another year, let's make it one worth remembering. til next time xx

Change isn't a bad thing. I have to admit it I find it hard to cope up with change, whether it is an emotional or physical change, but sometimes changing is a way for you to find yourself. I enjoy trying out new things from different cuisines to different hobbies and to different fashion style. Lately I've thought of trying out different styles and hopefully adapt to it and finding out your own style is also a good way to find yourself.

So I gave it a shot. From denim and laced cropped tops to leather jackets and high heels. I'm honestly in love with this dress, I got this from Topshop and I bought this quite a long time ago but I barely used it so I said why not experiment this with other stuff. I find the pattern on this dress perfect for any occasion and you can make it to any style depending on the essentials you use.
